Praying is maintaining a healthy diet of love talks with the Father for me. He is honored and reverenced as the Highest in all things and teaches me how to love all mankind.

Prayer comforts me and bring me to a place of peace, a place of focus with the most beautiful inner tranquility.

When I was down and out Prayer gave me in friend in God, to whom I called to form redemption, for forgiveness.

Prayer put me in a place where the enemy could not distract, derail me or trouble my train of thoughts. In prayer I am in peace with the world, that is what I am most grateful for. Thank You.

God could just help us and give us what we need because He knows everything… but He wants us to participate in His plan… part of the way we do that is through prayer, actively communicating with Him in personal relationship not necessarily in formal settings or methods.
He has giving us everything we need …

This scripture is not necessarily about prayer but talks about our participation in the divine nature and we know that prayer is one of the tools to accomplish this.

    2 Peter 1:4
    – His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Participation is incomplete without prayer (communication)

There is so much to say about prayer. I am going to just comment on one thing. We often think that prayer has to be this time spent in our “prayer closet” over an extended period of time, however, Paul exhorts us to pray continually and we can’t do that in our closet if we want to accomplish anything during our day. We need to refocus and realize that God is with us throughout the day. With us in our thoughts and in our actions. As we go through the day, short “breath payers” are just as effective, and sometimes more so, that those time we toil in prayer in our closets. Sometimes it is just “Lord, help.” I believe that God wants nothing more than the intimate relationship that involves and grows through continual conversation.

May your time of prayer be a time of recognizing the presence of God as you go through your day!
